El Valle Lodge - El Valle (Samana)

The surrounding nature creates a unique ambiance that's hard to beat. Rooms have an interesting charm, with a cozy vibe for a family stay.

The room lighting was annoyingly dim. Stains on the bed and towels were off-putting, and encountering a frog in the room wasn't exactly what I expected. The Wi-Fi connection proved unreliable, and the toilet had a tendency to clog easily.

Loved my 2 nights stay. Everyone was amiable and good! Had a sitting area and a private entrance in my twin room. The location was beautiful and good for me, in the most beautiful tropical forest walking distance from the beach.

It was amazing time in El Valle.

Just wish more staff spoke English. Can't wait to return!

Loved our beautiful and nice rooms, plus the staff was amicable! We got a room with bathtubs. River view was a pleasant bonus. The location was stunning for walking around a remote white - sand beach.

I ate at a very spacious restaurant with excellent food.

It was just a smart choice for a trip in El Valle with good value considering price it charged. Enjoyed the local fish dish, fresh and flavorful. Bring your own snacks and drinks if you can, as the restaurant prices can be steep.

We stayed in an a double room which was super. Greatly enjoyed the location literally in a jungle with animals around.

Magical stay with fine views

I had a magical experience this past week! The fine views and the sound of nature surrounding us. The beach was just a stone's throw away. The only downside was that our room's lighting was quite dim, and we did deal with some maintenance issues as well. It was a relaxing and beautiful getaway.

It was just an ideal choice for a brief visit in El Valle with good price-value balance. The staff was quite helpful when I needed assistance with my luggage. You might want to bring your own snacks if you're not keen on the restaurant prices.
